Com o objetivo de despertar a consciência ecológica da população para que cada um faça sua parte pela preservação do planeta e da vida, o «Mãe Ambiente» orienta as mulheres e suas famílias, há 3 anos, sobre a importância da separação e correta destinação do lixo seco e do orgânico, fortalecendo programas de coleta seletiva e reciclagem. O projeto também orienta sobre o uso racional da água. Certa de 20 mil pessoas foram orientadas em 4 cidades do DF, por 80 agentes voluntárias, formadas pela entidade
Na comunidade do Queima Lençol
É um projeto de sustentabilidade ambiental de autoria da Femube, desenvolvido em parceria com a CIPLAN, e teve por objetivo a promoção da consciência ecológica, capacitação, geração de renda e inclusão social para as mulheres da comunidade do Queima Lençol, (Fercal / Sobradinho DF) e suas famílias através da aprendizagem de técnicas de confecções de sacolas recicladas com papel utilizado nos sacos de cimentos da CIPLAN.
